Thanks Brady, what about for close net shots where you want to spin up and kill momentum to get a double bounce just inside their net line?
Great video. Where shud u stand if u are the one dropping in ur example. I tend to meet the play in the middle ready to battle and get lobbed
Coach, for these angle volleys, should we preset our wrist in the angle we want the ball to go? Thanks!
can we hit windshield wiper method on high balls?
No it's not as useful on high balls, where it's better to hit through the ball more.
Thanks,I will try it
Best of luck!
best explanation of the swing volley and the right moments to do this
Thanks for watching!
Damn you’re comprehensive. Amazing work

But in Tennis Directionals by Paul Wardlaw the Outside Approach Shot is played not with NoCOD (No Change of Direction) but as a 90 degree shot perpendicular to the baseline. For this reason, it is wrong to point out to forget Directionals. ua-cam.com/video/WXVqCAwbG3Y/v-deo.html
You're right! Doesn't change our strategy/game plan but good to point out. Thanks for watching!
Love this. I started trying to learn it watching Sinner, Radacanu, Swiatek, and Sabalenka’s forehand. Before changing to this I was decelerating before contact and besides lack of control no power. I love this forehand. More power, more control. Thank you for confirmation with your video!
Not good, you should always have two targets when you approach so that your opponent cannot anticipate his movement. If you only have one he will understand.
where is the sweet spot on contact of the ball on string? top 25%, middle ?
If someone questions your sportsmanship for using this serve ask them the following questions. In sports other than tennis does deception play a role in the outcome of the game. Of course! Consider the "trick" play in football, the behind the back pass in basketball, or the bunt in baseball. Now consider tennis on shots other than the serve. How about the poach at the last moment, or feinting the poach, or the drop shot. All of these strategies are not only legal but part of the game. Why should an underhand serve in tennis be any different?
Plissss try to explain a little in spanish.... ni e job..kisses fronChile❤❤❤
Do you do this for forehand slice approach?
Excellent
Problem is the high flight of the ball gives them plenty of time to chase down the drop shot?
Guga Kuerten
very helpful!
Very informative thank you
I like to see what to do when you receive a short ball how should I return it.
8 o'clock-1 o'clock both sides bread and butter.
Great video. Great explanation.
Go Curtain! Your tips are great. Appreciate you prioritizing the key doubles shots.
I advise that the player align the ball position on contact (opponent) with the center strap and line up there. This requires anticipation.
what 2-handed backhand grip do you recommend for half-volley?
Short angle forwhand most effective shot in twmnis? Bringing opponent off the court
What do you think of an Alcaraz/ Sinner like take back that is super tight to the body and then as you uncoil the hands comes forwards, elbow straightens to contact. I feel that it allows for more speed at the beginning and then that can be transferred into an straightening elbow. Gives you a path that is below up so that you shape the ball and also gives more control
1:29 - Short vs deep slice swing path 3:58 - Weight transfer for deep slice
1:12 - Deep ball footwork 2:33 - Jump as you swing 4:20 - Full movement demonstration Thanks, excellent video, but what about when the ball comes at your backhand? I miss that part.
I am struggling with flat hit and it always goes out or to thr net. But if I slice it, it seems better. Should we try to hit the ball when it bounces to the top before falling?
Nice...Simple , Accurate Instruction.🎾
One of the best video, short, informative, dry knowledge, no slimy talk. 🙏 Thank you.
The only video which translated to results instantly in the court today. The key missing part no other video explained is that, the racket should be above the ball ( swing path) and the bottom edge at front. Thanks a lot!!
I don't think you need to have your elbow bent to unbend it to volley. You actually use your shoulder to volley. I think this elbow unbending idea is oincorrect.
But what about above head?
great tips
Great Job. There are very few Pros who are advanced volleyers anymore... You might have to look back to Rafter, Edberg, or Cash.
Thank you. What grip do you use¿
“…between you and me”…🤣
These are difficult. I practiced for two hours and got maybe 10 out of 300.
And just pray that it doesn’t come to your backhand?😄
I believe you play with a semi western forehand which I switched to for good about 2 months ago, love it, but what I am not loving is starting in that grip and facing an opponent with a serve like yours. Evn gripping losely using my oppoaite hand to turn, very difficult getting into a continental much less an eastern backhand when my opponent realizes I struggle with backhand eturn. I have a good 1 hand backhand but not returning serve with starting in semi western.
Outstanding video
Another great short yet helpful video! Any thoughts on which foot you should land on? Seems like with the traditional style it was the right foot for a right-handed server. But I see the modern pros landing on the left one (front) and having the right one go backwards for balance.
Best explanation i ever come across! At first i really cannot understand how it can be done. Now i know it n i am so excited to try this afternoon! Thank you coach! Excellent ! Like!!!!
Awesome tips as usual. Thanks.

thanks for the lesson - very useful
