But in Tennis Directionals by Paul Wardlaw the Outside Approach Shot is played not with NoCOD (No Change of Direction) but as a 90 degree shot perpendicular to the baseline. For this reason, it is wrong to point out to forget Directionals. ua-cam.com/video/WXVqCAwbG3Y/v-deo.html

Love this. I started trying to learn it watching Sinner, Radacanu, Swiatek, and Sabalenka’s forehand. Before changing to this I was decelerating before contact and besides lack of control no power. I love this forehand. More power, more control. Thank you for confirmation with your video!

Not good, you should always have two targets when you approach so that your opponent cannot anticipate his movement. If you only have one he will understand.

If someone questions your sportsmanship for using this serve ask them the following questions. In sports other than tennis does deception play a role in the outcome of the game. Of course! Consider the "trick" play in football, the behind the back pass in basketball, or the bunt in baseball. Now consider tennis on shots other than the serve. How about the poach at the last moment, or feinting the poach, or the drop shot. All of these strategies are not only legal but part of the game. Why should an underhand serve in tennis be any different?

I advise that the player align the ball position on contact (opponent) with the center strap and line up there. This requires anticipation.

What do you think of an Alcaraz/ Sinner like take back that is super tight to the body and then as you uncoil the hands comes forwards, elbow straightens to contact. I feel that it allows for more speed at the beginning and then that can be transferred into an straightening elbow. Gives you a path that is below up so that you shape the ball and also gives more control

I don't think you need to have your elbow bent to unbend it to volley. You actually use your shoulder to volley. I think this elbow unbending idea is oincorrect.

I believe you play with a semi western forehand which I switched to for good about 2 months ago, love it, but what I am not loving is starting in that grip and facing an opponent with a serve like yours. Evn gripping losely using my oppoaite hand to turn, very difficult getting into a continental much less an eastern backhand when my opponent realizes I struggle with backhand eturn. I have a good 1 hand backhand but not returning serve with starting in semi western.

Another great short yet helpful video! Any thoughts on which foot you should land on? Seems like with the traditional style it was the right foot for a right-handed server. But I see the modern pros landing on the left one (front) and having the right one go backwards for balance.
